Grade Levels: K-8th
Location: 2257 E Cedar Ave, Flagstaff, AZ, 86004
Hours: Wednesday, 1PM - 5:30PM (flexible parent pick-up starting at 4PM)
Group Size: 1 adult per 6 children
Food: One organic snack is provided each afternoon; students may bring additional snacks from home if necessary.
Price: $220 per month* (about $12 per hour)

With no additional fees for field trips, supplies, snacks, transportation, or activities, Pine Forest Explorers provides families with an exceptional enrichment experience all year long.
Pine Forest Explorers also offers tiered pricing. Families choose the tier that fits their circumstances. No documentation required.
Sustainer Rate: $240/month:
Families choosing this rate invest in keeping high-quality enrichment opportunities accessible for our entire community.
Standard Rate: $220/month*:
This rate reflects the full cost of providing our hands-on enrichment program, including field trips, transportation, supplies, snacks, and activities.
Community Rate: $180/month:
This rate is available for families who need additional financial support to participate. Families using ESA funds are not eligible for the Community Rate.

Each Wednesday follows a consistent rhythm designed to help children feel grounded, supported, and excited about what’s ahead.
12:50–1:15am ❋ Afternoon Arrival & Connection
We begin each afternoon at Pine Forest Explorers with outdoor play, a bathroom break, and time to settle in. Campers gather for a group circle to talk about the afternoon ahead and enjoy a snack together.
1:30pm–3:30pm ❋ Community Exploration
We explore Flagstaff through visits to local organizations, outdoor spaces, and community partners.
3:30–4:00pm ❋ Reset & Reflection
Students gather in a circle to reflect on their community explorations and share highlights from their day.
4:00–5:30pm ❋ Reflection, Pick-Up, & Creative Studio
At the end of the afternoon, Parent pick-up may begin at 4:00p.m. For students who remain until 5:30 p.m., they may enjoy independent creative studio activities, participate in process-oriented projects, or spend time playing outdoors. Activities will be differentiated based on age.

What Should Students Bring?
Car seat or booster; if needed

We recommend wearing pants and sturdy shoes on hiking days
A labeled bag with a change of clothes; socks, underwear, t-shirt, shorts or pants - this bag will stay at the school with your child in case of emergency
All other fun trinkets should be left at home
Please label all items with your child's first and last name or initial
